Welcome to BROWHAUS & Beauty Studio!
My name is Lyda Neuhaus and I am your certified microblading and powder brow technician! I am located inside Be Radiant Med Spa in Okoboji, Iowa. I started microblading and powder brows to combine my passion for beauty with my desire to help people feel confident and empowered. Having always been fascinated by the art of creating flawless brows, I wanted to offer a specialized service that transforms and enhances natural features. By opening this studio, I aim to provide a personalized, high-quality experience where clients can achieve their ideal brow shape and color, ultimately boosting their self-esteem and allowing them to put their best face forward. I cannot wait to see you!
What I offer
Microblading
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure designed to enhance and shape the eyebrows. It involves using a small handheld tool with tiny needles to create fine, hair-like strokes in the skin. These strokes mimic the appearance of natural eyebrow hairs and are filled with pigment to match the client's desired color. The result is a fuller, more defined brow that can last from one to three years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Microblading is popular for its ability to achieve natural-looking, well-groomed brows with minimal maintenance. Microbladed eyebrows typically last 12–30 months, but the exact duration depends on several factors like skin type, age, lifestyle, and genetics.
Powder Brows
Powder brows, also known as ombré brows or shading, is a semi-permanent eyebrow technique that creates a soft, powdery, and filled-in look. Unlike microblading, which uses hair-like strokes, powder brows involve depositing pigment into the skin with a machine, resulting in a gradient effect that is lighter at the front of the brow and darker towards the tail. This technique provides a more defined and uniform appearance, similar to the effect of using a brow powder or pencil. Powder brows are ideal for those looking for a fuller, more defined look with a softer finish and tend to last longer than microblading, usually up to 2-3 years.
